South America Round Trips
Colombia General information:
Colombia has a size of 1.2 million square kilometres and has 44 million inhabitants. There it is the 4th largest country in South America. It is located in the northwestern region of South America, it is bordered to the east by Venezuela and Brazil; to the south by Ecuador and Peru; to the north by Panama and the Caribbean Sea; and to the west by the Pacific Ocean.
The climate of Colombia is determined by its proximity to the Equator, with tropical and isothermal climate being most prominent. Rainfall varies by location and is present in two seasons (two dry and two rainy), including one of the highest levels of rainfalls in the world in the Pacific region.
Colombia offers great opportunity for climbing, trekking and diving. With its colonial cities you can get to know the cultures that lived here long ago. After an adventurous tour the Caribbean Sea is the perfect place to relax before returning to the daily live.
