PM: In the afternoon, head to Witch Hill, a secluded bay with fine white sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Its shallow saltwater lagoon offers a peaceful setting ideal for spotting marine life and enjoying views of Kicker Rock from a unique vantage point.

AM: Begin your morning by landing on Santa Fe, one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos, known for its towering forests of Opuntia cacti and distinctive pale-yellow land iguanas. Hike along scenic trails that lead you across the island’s arid landscape or into the highlands where these endemic iguanas bask under the sun. After your walk, cool off in the calm, crystal-clear waters of the bay — ideal for swimming or snorkeling alongside playful sea lions, rays, and colorful reef fish.

PM: In the afternoon, explore the compact yet incredibly diverse South Plaza Island. Its vivid red and green Sesuvium ground cover contrasts dramatically with the island’s black lava and towering prickly pear cacti. Here, you can often see swallow-tailed gulls, tropicbirds, and other seabirds nesting or riding the thermals above the crashing waves.

AM: In the morning, you will discover Bartholomew Island. Once here, you will ascend to admire the spectacular panorama of Sullivan Bay and the famous Pinnacle Rock. The beaches at the foot of the Pinnacle Rock are excellent for snorkeling from which you can discover the marvelous underwater world, and with a little luck, you’ll get to snorkel with penguins.

PM: In the afternoon, you will visit Sullivan Bay, located on the east coast of Santiago Island. We land on a white coral sand beach and begin our walk over lava that flowed less than 100 years ago. This is the perfect place to see and feel the volcanic origin of Galapagos. Also, in this area you will admire flora that grows in lava fields.

AM: In the morning, you will go to El Barranco (Prince Philip’s Steps), a carved out of stone stair. This will lead you to a wide plateau, where you can observe large colonies of masked boobies, frigate birds, storm petrels and ducks. During this easy stroll you will cross a small Scalesia forest, habitat of the short-eared owl. The same path will lead you back to your boat.

PM: In the visit to Darwin Bay, which is the only sandy beach found in the caldera on Genovesa. Colonies of the Great Frigates are found along the beach. Male exhibit their red balloon pouch to females for hope of a match.

This site vividly demonstrates how mangroves shape the marine ecosystem, forming a vibrant and unique habitat. Three different species of mangroves extend from the shore deep into the water, stretching nearly a mile inland.
While gliding silently through the calm waters aboard a dinghy, you may spot spotted eagle rays and mustard rays gracefully swimming in formation. Keep an eye out for white-tipped reef sharks gliding beneath the surface and Pacific green sea turtles surfacing to breathe or mate. The area is also a haven for waterfowl, such as pelicans, herons, and egrets, all drawn by the cove’s rich feeding grounds.

PM: Las Bachas Beach you'll explore Las Bachas, a stunning white-sand beach along the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island. It’s a great spot for a relaxing walk or gentle snorkeling. This beach is a nesting site for sea turtles, and you may spot a rusted pontoon—an old-World War II remnant. The name "Bachas" is derived from a mispronunciation of "barges," referring to the two partially sunken vessels in the area.
After visiting Las Bachas, the vessel will circumnavigate Daphne Major Islet, a treeless volcanic cone formed from compacted ash. This small yet significant islet serves as an important nesting site for Nazca boobies, red-billed tropicbirds, and blue-footed boobies. As you navigate its rugged perimeter, you’ll witness a landscape that has inspired remarkable studies on natural selection and evolution.

AM: This morning's visit takes you to Rabida Island, which is renowned for its unique red sand beach. The island is home to striking cactus groves and dramatic rocky landscapes, along with native dry-zone vegetation and endemic species. A walk along the beach might reveal brown pelican nests and occasionally flamingos in a nearby saltwater lagoon.

PM: In the afternoon, you will visit Chinese Hat, a small islet off the south coast of Santiago, with a maximum elevation of 160 feet (52 meters). Though within easy reach of Santa Cruz, Chinese Hat is typically only visited by those aboard a Galapagos Cruise.

AM: Only accessible by dinghy, this expansive bay on Isabela’s northwest coast features two coves that attract a variety of nesting birds, including blue-footed and Nazca boobies, storm petrels, and Brown Noddies. The nutrient-rich waters make this a premier snorkeling spot, where whales, dolphins, sea lions, and marine birds can often be seen feeding.

PM: As one of the most pristine islands in the archipelago, Fernandina has never had a foreign species invade. It is also the most active island and farthest west. Espinoza point is the only visitor site on the entire island. Here you can see marine iguanas, Galapagos hawks and enjoy a walking and snorkeling activity at one of the most natural, unspoiled sites in the entire world.

AM: Moreno point is located on the west coast of Isabela Island and although it appears a barren lava flow at first, a walk along one of the trails soon reveals a multitude of beautiful green lagoons and mangroves and is a fantastic place to see penguins, blue herons and flamingos. Meanwhile, a dinghy ride or snorkel along the rocky shoreline is a wonderful way to spot green sea turtles and white-tip sharks.

PM: This visitor site is visited by dinghy only as the park authorities have no authorized landing in order to protect the island. While in the dinghy you can appreciate a large abundance of marine life that can be seen in the clear waters

AM: Millions of years ago, Urbina Bay was once laying on the ocean floor. Volcanic uplifts caused it to rise and now they are occupied by sea lions, land iguanas and flightless cormorants. It is a great place to enjoy some free time on the beach or the guide may suggest a walk.

PM: If you like historic remnants, then you will enjoy finding what was left behind by pirates and sailors in the 1800s. This site was one of their preferred pit stops while traveling the seas. The walking here will provide incredible views of the cove and on the other side the mangrove forest where the last 35 pairs of Mangrove finches thrive.

AM: Espumilla Beach, located on the northern coast of Santiago Island, is an exquisite white sand beach whose name refers to the meringue-like trails of foam left by the lapping of the waves and is a popular place for marine iguanas. Sally Lightfoot crabs are abundant here, attracting predatory birds such as hawks, herons, and pelicans.
With an abundance of marine life including octopi, moray eel, and shark, snorkeling is recommended and available.

PM: Located just north of James Bay, Buccaneer Cove was once a safe haven for sailors, buccaneers, and whalers during the 17th and 18th centuries, who anchored their vessels here to stash loot, collect fresh water, and capture giant tortoises for food.
Today, this dramatic site of red cliffs and eroded rock formations attracts wildlife rather than ships. The cove’s steep walls provide nesting ledges for blue-footed and Nazca boobies, pelicans, and gulls, while sea lions and fur seals rest along the shore. It is also an important nesting site for sea turtles. A dinghy ride offers close-up views of the impressive coastline and abundant birdlife, while snorkeling, kayaking, or paddleboarding reveals a rich variety of marine species beneath the surface.

AM: Named after British naval officer Lord Hugh Seymour, this small island is covered in low-lying vegetation and teems with birdlife.
You’ll encounter blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and a substantial colony of magnificent frigatebirds, with males displaying their vibrant red throat pouches to attract mates.

PM: Positioned between Baltra and North Seymour, Mosquera is a flat, sandy islet without a designated trail, allowing for free exploration.
It’s known for its thriving sea lion colony, shorebirds, and colorful Sally Lightfoot crabs.
The surrounding reefs make for excellent snorkeling, with chances to spot rays, turtles, and reef sharks.

AM: Visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, also known as the Charles Darwin Research Station. The center hosts an interpretation center, museum, library, and tortoise breeding facility, home to various tortoise subspecies being prepared for reintroduction.

PM: On the highlands of Santa Cruz, you’ll have the opportunity to see the famous giant tortoises in the wild. So renowned are these endemic animals that gave the archipelago its name. Birdwatching is also one of the activities to do in the Santa Cruz highlands, since this area is home of finches and other Galapagos birds.

AM: In the morning, explore Champion Islet, a small sanctuary near Floreana Island known for its crystal-clear waters and coral reefs. During a panga ride and snorkeling session, guests may encounter sea turtles, playful sea lions, and vibrant schools of fish. This islet also shelters one of the last populations of the Floreana mockingbird, a remarkable spot for wildlife and marine life preservation.
Cormorant Point features two contrasting beaches: one with olive-green sand due to the high content of olivine crystals, and another with pure white sand (commonly known as ‘Flour Beach’) derived from pulverized coral.
The saltwater pond is a must-see as it is frequented by one of the archipelago’s largest populations of Galapagos flamingos as well as other shorebirds such as stilts, white-cheeked pintails, and large-billed flycatchers.
Afterwards, guests will take a dinghy ride to Devil’s Crown, an underwater volcanic crater that is almost completely submerged – in fact, just a small portion of the rock formation can be seen from above, and it looks like a crown. Snorkelers will discover a vast underwater world full of coral reefs and a myriad of marine species. Birds are also part of this visitor point due to its location in open waters.

PM: Post Office Bay is a man-made site that offers an insight into a remarkable mailing tradition developed by British whalers in the 18th century that visitors can still take part in today.
The beach here provides for good snorkeling and kayaking and it is also possible to descend into and walk through a lava tube.
Next, take a dinghy ride to the Baroness’s Lookout, a volcanic rock formation named after an Australian baroness, who visited the island in the 1930 and is believed to have mysteriously disappeared.
A short trail leads to a brilliant vantage point with panoramic views of the surrounding mangroves and coastline.

AM: Suarez Point is packed with wildlife and is best explored by following the circular walking trail. This memorable walk will take you past nesting sites of large colonies of Nazca and blue-footed boobies and mockingbirds.
Unique to Española Island is also the beautiful, waved albatross, which can be seen majestically launching themselves out across the ocean from the cliffs, and the red and green marine iguanas.
A geological highlight is several blow holes, capable of shooting water 25m into the air, that make for a spectacular photo.
